Conclusion: Tensile properties of DHDT HDD Drill Rods meet completely with the requirements of grade Z140 in DS-1. Their Charpy V-notch impact energy is much higher than the requirement stipulated in DS-1. High strength and high toughness has been achieved. Grade V-150 HDD Drill Rods is under development and can be supplied to the market in the near future
